Designed for sealing threaded steel joints in installations:

The YATO cord is intended for use in installations with a maximum pressure of up to 15 bar and operating temperatures from -20 °C to 130 °C.

The cord is made of high-strength nylon fibers, making it resistant to abrasion. Furthermore, unlike Teflon tapes, using the cord allows for adjustment of the connection by up to 45°, which significantly simplifies installation and reduces costs.

In addition, the YATO cord is impregnated with special silicone lubricants that provide excellent sealing properties and do not harden. Thus, unscrewing the threaded connection is very easy even after many years.

The easy-to-use tube features a double-sided cutting blade in the cap, which allows you to quickly and easily cut the cord to the required length.

The 50 m length of the YATO cord is highly efficient and can seal up to 110 fittings with a 1/2" diameter.
